Dorothy C. Larson age 93 of Buffalo/Waverly died on Sunday, November 29, 2009. She was born November 24, 1916 to Wallace and Rachel (Dignan) Peterson on the family farm in Marysville Township.

Dorothy graduated from Buffalo High School and went onto Business College before being employed by Wright County Superintendant of Schools, Kings House, and Wright County Court House retiring in 1987. Always calm, always courteous, subtle wit and that Irish charm. Her ability to handle people with grace and wit and her knowledge of every facet of county government go back for only 11 of her 31 years with Wright County. Dorothy felt strongly about keeping the 1874 Peterson family farm in the family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1985; and her brother Wallace Peterson. She is survived by her 4 sons Harry and Karen Larson, Jim and Rachael Larson, Paul and Colleen Larson, Donald Larson; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Arleen Peterson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St Mary Catholic Church in Waverly, Minnesota. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Parish Hall prior to Mass. Rev. Timothy Cloutier will officiate with interment in the church cemetery
