Anthony Frank Hlad, “Tony” age 80 of Rockford passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minnesota. He was born December 2, 1932 to Joseph and Pauline (Super) Hlad in Flensburg, Minnesota.

Tony was a lifelong construction worker. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His card games would go on forever. He always had a joke to tell for anyone who would listen.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Pauline Hlad; and a brother-in-law Willie Gall. He is survived by his children Dennis (Lisa) Hlad, Cheryl Hlad and Buzz Westrum, DeeAnn (Brad) Link, Chris (Brian) White; 4 grandchildren Joe, Daniel, Emily and Blaine; siblings Patricia (John) Kempenich, Geraldine Gall, Shirley (Art) Bliese, and Larry (Ruth) Hlad.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends will be held in the church for 1 hour prior to the Mass on Saturday. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
