Leona Katherine Fake (Schaust) age 92 the oldest child of Anthony and Elizabeth Schaust.  Born May 18, 1918 in Franklin Township.  Married George Fake and together they had six children.  Leona was a caring, loving mother.  She was active in the Delano Catholic Church.  What brought Leona enjoyment was spending time in her backyard, loving the sounds of the birds that would come, watering her flowers outside, as well as her ferns and flowers inside.  Baking oatmeal cookies and looking forward to spending time with her family.  Leona touched so many lives and so loved helping people.  She will be missed my many.  Leona was preceded in death by her husband George; son-in-law Calvin Butler; grandson Jeff Breuer; brother Anthony Schaust; sister Betty Gabrelcik; half sister Mathilda Florek; brothers-in-law Richard Gabrelcik, Ambrose Farniok, and Glen Litfin.  Survived by children Carol Butler of St. Petersburg, FL, George (Kris) Fake, Ron (Mary) Fake of Willmar, MN. Mary (Ed) Raser, Rose (Roger) Schadow, Kevin (Geri) Fake; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings and spouses Lauren (Dorothy) Schaust, Joe (Lorraine) Schaust, George (Joan) Schaust, Genevieve “Gene” Farniok, Arlene Litfin, Leonard (Maxine) Schaust, Matt (Estelle) Schaust; sister-in-law Delores Schaust.  Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota.   Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano, Minnesota.
