disease and a staph infection. Preceded in death by her father, Archie
Larson. Survived by her daughter, Jamie (David) Entinger; grandchildren,
Carter, Ellie, and Jack; her true companion of nine years, Mike Curtis;

Larson of Waconia, Kathy Larson of Lester Prairie, and Steve (Jean) Larson
of Victoria; nephews and nieces Kurt, Keith, Kari, Kelly, Kyle, Jessie, and
Jack; and many dear friends. Sandy was born on December 22, 1956 in
Waconia, MN. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She
graduated from Waconia High School in 1975. Sandy was united in marriage to
John Burdorf on October, 25th 1975 and to this union was blessed a daughter,
Jamie. They were divorced 25 years later. Sandy worked many years at
Honeywell and most recently in the cafeteria at Mound Public School. She
thoroughly enjoyed her interactions with the students there every day. She
was a lifelong animal lover – her cats Shadow, Buddy, and Angel will
certainly miss her. Sandy enjoyed horseback riding, camping, fishing,
scrabble, and walking barefoot everywhere. Although she spent most of her
life battling the alcohol and tobacco addiction that eventually lead to her
death; Sandy bravely overcame those addictions within the last few years.
Sandy made certain to make the most of that sobriety by devoting herself to
her grandchildren. She savored every moment she had with them. Carter,
Ellie, Jack, Jamie and the most patient and supportive man in the world,
Mike, will always treasure that time. A Celebration of Sandy”s Life
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 26th, 2010 from 4:00pm to
8:00pm at the Watertown Community Center 309 Lewis Ave. S. Please feel
welcome to come and share your memories of Sandy with us.
